Man, that looks dangerous. I personally like the rope/string at the bottom.

I remember changing the front springs on my Triumph Spitfire a few years back - I used the proper spring compressors and even then was very careful - those springs have a lot of energy when compressed!

Regards,
Andrew M

Man, what an idiot. Looks like the darwin award will be givin out soon.

The ricers will kill their own kind off eventually. We just have to sit back and watch.

That thread was hilarious! Indeed- what an idiot. I am going to have to check on that board whenever in need of a good laugh.

Didn't read the thread but the picture is enough. Obviously the buckethead was too cheap to buy another spring compressor to do the job right. Serves him right! I concur with Andrew as well. Nice tool choice as far as the string/rope is concerned.

Thanks for the giggle bell!

There's actually an 'Altima BBS'? That, in itself, is humerous. -- Curt

Not nearly as humorous as the Altimas.net Racing Stories forum. With topics like "beat by a jetta" and "Got my ass handed to me by a Saturn!!!" it will keep you at the edge of your seat for hours.

For some more on the Altima board, check out this This thread.

The data in the CD-type disc decodes easily into ASCII computer text as follows, using 8 bit binary:
*
"Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. (Damaged Word). There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND)”
*
The damaged word would appear to be intended as “BELIEVE”.

After reading that we should all fear for the future of our country when we hand it over to the ricer generation.

I dunno. We handed it over to the pothead generation twenty years ago. The damage is done, this is the result.

Thank God for those ricer knuckleheads!

I mean without ricers... everybody might want a 911 and there just aren't enough for that!

Just keep em away from a 911 or any "fine" sports car for that matter.

Rarly, you are correct. Or as my brother-in-law, who lives in Ann Arbor, Mi. (hippie capital of the world) likes to say, it's the result of "hippies raising hippies".
