Thanks Steve, do you think a thinner spacer might have worked without fender rolling?

The green car has a 69 and later slight flair. The yellow car a 65-68 has no flair. | ||

Not for me. We had to actually shave down the rear trailing arm bolts for clearance. Also If a thinner spacer was used, the tire would rub the body inside and trailing arm.

I had to do the same to get 205's under the slab side Yellow 67. I had to shave the bolt next to the tire sidewall. I have maybe a 1/4 inch at the most on either side of my tire.

fyi 7x15s with 225 50 15 kumhos on the rear of my lwb narrow MY71 rubbed above the lip with 1.5 = negative camber only on one side though. Car was never hit so sometimes the bodies are slightly assymetrical. Rubbing is a huge pet peeve of mine . I am exploring ideas for a set of track wheels . my street setup is deep sixes all around with cn36 repops which I dig! ( could use spacers on rear though prob 21mm). for track I was considering 7x15 (late) with 205 60 hoosier vintage and flat 6 front also with hoosier vintage 60series in a 185 0r 195( dont remember) any photos? also saw avons available in these sizes but think they are uk only.My goal on the track btw is something to toss around occasionally, not shave tenths at all cost so longevity and ability to drive to track is a must.
