Heater Hose prob. help!
I took my '77 911 out today and upon return, noticed a smoking engine. It smelled like burnt oil, so I popped the lid and my right (passenger side) hose running from the heater box over the fan shroud was broken near the engine base (actually, it was taped to another sectiona nd came loose--not my work) So I ordered a new hose that'll be in tomorrow morning.
Is this a straightforward fix? Any tips or probs I may run into? Thanks, Pete

If you have a/c, then it will take more time but, no, it is a fairly easy job. The heater hose will clamp to a coupler at the bottom. Use good clamps to secure them. I had a/c whenever I replaced mine last year and I had to remove the a/c compressor and bracket in order to replace it.
