Front H4 Headlights with LED's

Hey Guys,

Need your opinion on this. I recently added LED's to my front H4 headlights. Take a look and tell me what you think. Also changed the bulbs to Nitro Blue. Tell me what you think. Open to all opinions.

No need to show-off.......

You have a Porsche 911. No need to attract attention and show off. My two cents.

All right - I read all your comments now what would you suggest. This past week I saw a newer Porsche 911 with horizontal led's near where the front parking lights were and thought that was pretty cool looking.

Lets hear your positive suggestions - I know you are all "classic Porsche" fans as am I, but you know as well as I there are lots of P-cars out there with lots of mods that make them look good.

So - submit your suggestions - I can take the led's out and move them somewhere else - give me your ideas.

Tough Crowd

Do take care those blubs look modern but you will lose visibility.

If I may suggest, when you are done having fun with these bulbs (replacement time) try the OSRAM NIGHT BREAKERS, they are Freakin Bright

Have you considered going OEM city day running lights?

Paul K 04-13-2012 07:19 PM

Sorry- thumbs down from me.

Try stringing the led's inside the running lights maybe?
More angular and subtle that way.

dan88911 04-13-2012 07:40 PM

Hi Stormcrow I thought about running lights as well.
However, my idea was to install them on bump lip just under the amber turn signal lamps.

stormcrow 04-13-2012 07:43 PM

Draco,

I just purchased these lights - I may try the ones you recommended at a later date. I thought these would provide adequate night lite - haven't really been out when it was dark yet.

Anyway, I would like to dress up the front end with the led's - not so much to attract attention or to be a "ricer".

There are a lot of newer cars out with the white led's in front - just looking to do it as a "update" - nothing more.

Hey Dan

Now that might be an idea - I may give that a try - that might work out better and won't be so " ricer" looking.
