fuse panel change out

I've bought a new fuse panel to replace mine thats acting up. Has anybody done this before? any tips or tricks you can share would be appreciated. 1991 964 c2

Since you are only dealing with the electrical equivalent of the 'heart'of your car ... I suggest lots of digital pics, labeled and annotated with a pencil & paper inventory list of the wire colors at both ends of every fuse position, and the fuse values at every position ... before you move a SINGLE WIRE!!!

Unless they changed the policy in the post-89 world of Stuttgart ... the fuse panel is an assemblage of modular fuse blocks of 3, 8, or 10-position capacity, so you can work on the job by subassembly, rather than having to take all of the wires off at once. I suggest doing the smallest section first
