That concrete might have scratched it's surface, but it can never touch it's soul.

Good job on the repair.

Somehow i have the feeling that the concrete got a little bit more than the gentle love taps the fender received.

Unfortunately, the concrete wasn't mine to kill.

Besides...it was my fault.

At any rate...the gold BBS roller wheels turned to black today while I wait for my Group 4 wheels from England. Black looks so much better!!!

I recently learned not to store items above my Carrera, use our imagination.

Atleast they were steel flares and not FB. Nice dolly work.

UrQuattro 06-18-2012 07:34 PM

Dude, that is some amazing talent with the hammer and dolly work.

I've done some halfway decent work, but my friend could do stuff like you did. He would restore 356s that got into major accidents.

They would come in all crunched, and he would English wheel, hammer, dolly, pound, sand, paint, clear, etc. his way to perfect cars.

Bravo.

[QUOTE=Germanator;6746704]The best shop in the San Diego area is in Fallbrook, California Porsche Restoration. If you go there ask for Jesus.

Wow. Thought he was a carpenter.

Great work!

If you get yourself a copy of Classic Motorsport, there will be an ad in the back where someone will send you a spray can of paint made up to match your car. If you wet sand the area prior to painting, and buff it out, you may achieve professional results for short money...

Damn, nice work!

Since it's confession time, here's my story...I had a brand new Explorer, the second day I owned all the dashboard lights quit working. Dropped it off early at the dealer, I put it in line behind a few other cars when I noticed the lane on the other side of the kiosk was empty. Put it in reverse, and crunch, scraped a pole and smashed in the rear quarter panel from the rear bumper to the door. It had less than 100 miles on it. I think I invented some new cuss words that morning.

What dent? I don't see no stinkin dent...... :)
