				Bought something quite unusual today...

Nope, not a new car. A Porsche 959 cockpit that looks like it was used for prospective customers and/or some type of factory display. I'm not sure what I'm actually going to use it for, but it would seem like the natural thing to do would be to slap a flatscreen on it, attach some electronics to the pedals and the wheel, and make it into a really cool racing simulator seat. -Wayne

When you have a 959 and a reputation for buying weird stuff, people tend to call you. -Wayne

That's almost exactly what I said when I saw it. But, 959 driver test seat - gotta have it. I mean when are you ever going to find anything like this ever again? I paid way too much for it, but if I parted it out and sold off all of the unique 959 bits, I would get my money out of it, so it's not too bad. -Wayne

Three flat screens for sure for the cornering and I would normally recommend Iracing for the realism but inexplicably they don't offer a 911

Think that you have enough KM-PH on that speedo ? There is already a spot to mount the monitor and game equipment. Good find Wayne, just have to track down a game featuring a 959 to make it perfect. Cheers Richard | ||

I do think you need to get a bit more focused on the creation of a man cave. I truly have no idea how you get work done with what is on the other side of the window in front of your desk.
