Recaro PP seat install - help

Do these sliders look right? What is the vertical tab at the end for? Either it installs up or gets cut off, because it does not fit face down. My car is an 87 - did they give me the wrong ones? Others I have searched for on this board do not have the vertical component.

Are yours seats bottom mount or side mount? I though PP's were side mount like SPG's???

Those are earlier Recaro brackets, you need the later ones. I think I have a set. Post a pic of the bottom of your seats

You need side mount brackets. Do you have those?

Yes I have those - just need to figure out how the sliders mount to the car.

You should be able to unbolt the sliders off your old seats...unless they were full power versions. Can you photograph those?

You have tabbed sliders and you really should use the non-tabbed ones. That makes this process very easy to do.

I don't know how to mount a track seat, but as far as the sliders you need to get the type "without the tab" and the adjusting bar should mount to the inside of the two sliders, that's how to mount the aftermarket street type Recaro.

Yeah I have the full power versions so I can't use my old ones. Thanks Steve I thought I had the wrong sliders - do you know the part number of the correct ones? Or are they just the "non-tabbed" universal Recaro sliders?

Are the tabs meant for front mounted seats as opposed to my side mounted seats?

BTW the full power seats are heavy!!! Just carried them to the basement. OMG. I think I can visibly see my car increase it's ride height now that they are out. Amazing.

The tabs are for some of the older recaros seats. You just need some standard flat sliders off an SC. You may need to enlarge a few holes as your hardware may be bigger. I've got a set if you want to trade for the ones you have.

Let me see if I can return them first. If not I will get back to you. Thanks?
