Clutch adjusting needed

I unhook my clutch because I thought I was taking the engine out to install an air box. I just did an engine drop and got that fixed. Now, I hook the clutch back up and, to my surprise, when I get in the car the clutch pedal is all the way down to the floor. How do I fix this?

Have you re-set the Omega helper spring back? This one of the most common mistake when people detached the clutch cable and inadvertently forget to re-set it back to its operating position after re-installation or replacement. HTH.

I thought I did. It looks like the way it was when I took it off but there is no tension on it. The long lever is easy to move back and forth. Are there two different ways to put the long arm on? If there is a 50/50 chance I likely have it wrong.

I can't tell from your post, did you remove the engine or not? If you removed the engine, you may have not got the clutch fork engaged on the throwout bearing when you re installed it.

Agreed. Hope it's not the case, but get a mirror up over the trans and look through the square inspection hole to verify that your fork is still engaged with the throw out bearing. You might have to drop it again.

Hopefully, you just don't have the omega spring loaded. You need to lever it back with a pry bar before installing the clutch cable. And make sure your pedal is held up with a block of wood before you do any adjustments.

I fixed my problem. Had the Omega spring hooked up wrong. A little adjusting and away we go. Thank for the help.
