Help on 3.2L conversion issue

I think I have seen the answer to my problem before but after searching for some time I have not been able to locate it so here is the issue/question.

I have a 3.2 L in a 73 chassis. All is set up and works well.

The issue is that the parking brake light flashes on and off, even thought the park brake is disengaged. It is not a switch issue (as i understand it).

I have read before that with this conversion a resistor is required in the park brake lamp circuit to eliminate this flashing condition.

Can any body point me in the right direction on this or am I way out in left field?

What resistance is needed and where does it go in the circuit?

I'm not sure about the resistor, but on my '89 it had the brake pad sensors that IIRC would flash or light the brake light if they engaged. I disconnected them years ago, but now I can't remember if I had to connect the wires or not to make it not light.

Otherwise I don't see how the brake light is affected by your 3.2 conversion -- did you bring over the entire wiring harness?
