Speedometer question
I have acquired a second speedometer that I want to change to my present mileage. Can I just remove the bezel and then turn the tumblers to the appropriate mileage or does the tumbler assembly have to be taken apart?

Thanks, I read that already. It refers to disassembly of the gear to enable repair to the gear. I just want to know if I can turn the numbers without taking it apart.

I was able to slide the numbers apart, one at a time, to disengage and turn them, on my new replacement. I tried on my old one, and could not, though. Otherwise, you probably have to pull the whole gear assembly apart. The real trick, is getting the assembly unbolted, without breaking the speedo needle. Take care here.
