Any recognize these wheels?

I took a wheel off my '88 coupe for the first time to work on the Oil Level Sender Unit. Thanks a ton DRACO and LARRY HUGHES for your great writeup!!!

I took these pictures of my wheel as I was curious with what I bought on this car. I knew the rears weren't originals as my car has a decent set of records and one of the first receipts was from January 1989 from:

Robert W. Wood, Inc.
1340 Club View Drive
LA

It's a receipt for a trade of 2 Porsche 6X16 wheels and the original owner (4 back from me) bought:
"Porsche 8X16 original finish- new $1250"

Anyway, I didn't see any fox symbols on it, so I would guess that these aren't original fuchs.

...so I wonder what the original owner bought. Anyone recognize these wheels?

Lastly, I found a s*!t ton of lead balancing this wheel, any feedback or concerns about this? I should mention that this is not a track car, or even a daily driver. Just a weekend warrior.

By markings, is a real Fuchs 8X16. Fox symbol is in first picture, to the right of AS1062.
PN is also correct for 8X16 Fuchs - 911.362.117 (last 2 digits in first pic are stamped).

Hope this helps.

Why does the fox look different than this? Clearly a sly fox.

The amount of weight doesn't mean the wheel is out of round. Most likely it's the tire. You could try and break the bead and rotate, inflate and balance again.

Failing that pull the tire and spin up the wheel.
