Need help in identifying this part

Hi Guys

I managed to not photograph or sketch up what & where this piece belongs during my dis-assembly process.

To the best of my recollection, it is from the front trunk/gas tank area. It is 19" (48 mm) long (avg. length) & 5 1/2" (14 mm) wide x 1/4" (6 mm) thk. It is also a 5 ply type of wood. So what is it & where does it go? - after minor repairs of course

Thanks & Cheers
JB

Not 100% sure but I think there is a sleeve in the front trunk carpet that this goes into to make it stiff and fit better. I will check later when I go to the garage.

it's angle cut at one end to fit in the integral sleeve. the angle goes towards the leading edge of the mat......see the seams inside of the red border?
