Where in SoCal to have A/C installed for me 73.5 ?
I am in the midst of upgrading the interior of my 73.5 911 and would really like to have A/C put back into the vehicle. My dad the original owner had A/C removed way back when he had the engine 'upgraded' to an '84 Carrera engine.
I have put out queries to a couple of known shops that others have mentioned, so far to no avail. My preference would be a San Diego area shop but I am willing to roam north if need be. I would really appreciate any leads on shops that can do the A/C work on the car. Thanks, Q-Dog |

For a full install I would talk to Scott's Independent. They are excellent at complete AC systems.

Quicksilver-
I talked to Scott several weeks ago. He is time (6 mos) and probably cost-prohibitive. He did refer me to dsautoair in Costa Mesa. I have provided pics to them via email but he is either too busy or not interested in the work, as I haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks. Thanks, Q-dog |

So I guess that they don't have the Performance Aire part of the shop any more.
Hadn't heard that but then I took the AC out of my car...
