Anyone running thevertex auto 935 mirrors?

I was wondering if anyone was running the 935 mirrors from vertex? I was curious on the quality, and how they looked on the mirror section. The pic in their catalog only has the front view.

I saw these on the renspeed site http://www.rennspd.com/P_Detail.asp?PID=695&Task=misc

Why do they have the cutout that appears that it would show a gap between the mounting surface and the mirror?

I have the genuine RUF version of these. You need to be able to get to the back to mount the mirror assembly as it has the ability to rotate. In addtion the cutout is notched so it sits on the trim and lays flat with the glass when installed.

You don't see any of this when they are installed as there is a matte black film (that should come with the mirrors) to install on the inside of your door glass.

These only need to be held on with the 3M automotive adhesive tape, they weigh only grams.
