915 LHD Gearbox convert to RHD

I am looking to convert a 1972 right hand drive 911E sportomatic to manual using a left hand drive 915 gearbox - will the LHD gearbox linkages convert to my RHD car?

Yes. The gearbox set up is identical LHD or RHD. It's only the RHD pedal box that is significantly different (and harder to locate).

Thanks for the confirmation - I have looked at the pedal setup and can ID the clutch pedal parts I need

I was able to convert my sporto pedal box with minimal fuss.

Sounds like you have done this before - thanks for the advice!! A couple of further questions, the CV joints are different (4 vs 6 bolts and possibly different spline configuration) - presumably I will need all the 615 drive train components from the transmission flange to the wheel hub - do you know if the wheel stub shaft and bearing fit in my 1972 control arm? Also, are the drive shaft lengths the same - or if not presumably I can replace these with the correct length - I think the 615 box is a 78 version or thereabouts?
