Steve Wong Chip

I am curious about the advantages and disadvantages of fitting a Steve Wong chip to a US-spec Carerra? This thread has probably been done to death, but any input would be appreciated.

There's two sides:

One side states better idle, crisper throttle response, and a little quicker through the revs, etc., etc.

The other says the timing is too advanced thus causing detonation that ultimately grenades motor.

I think this sums it up.....

Hate 's a pretty strong word, but I think he's pretty darned cross.

Hundreds of satisfied customer posts, Car feels faster, runs smoother, etc, etc...

And ONE Loren.

Downside ? You have to use premium. If you are changing your exhaust, you should do that first, and match the chip to the car.
