Belt Size Question
I currently have a Contitech 10x710 belt on my 3.0L SC. However, it is loose with NO shims currently on it.
Am I correct to say that going to the 9.5x710 will solve this problem? If correct, I'm not liking this because the belt Pelican carries for that size says "NOT a Service-Free belt, may require retensioning". I DO NOT want to service this belt as it's going into a 914. Any thoughts/solutions on that? Thanks.

Both belts are 710 long... the 9.5 vs the 10 is the width. if anything the 9.5 will be looser. not sure this will solve your problem.

Hmm, I was wrong. However, it seems the 710 is the shorter version, PP offers a 725 length which obviously won't fix my problem.

you need shims to get it tighten properly. if it is loose they should be on the outside.
