OK, I searched for around 40 minutes and could not find a photo of a Guards red coupe with frosted RSR wheels. I was able to find a set of 7s and 9s and was thinking of having Harvey Weidman do his magic on them but no photos. Can you search experts here on the board find them for me...any help is appreciated.
SEE LAST POST...GOT THE WHEELS, NOW NEED TO KNOW HOW TO MAINTAIN AND CLEAN THEM

Nice! I spoke to Harvey today and I'm having the wheels sent to him, 7s/9s x16 from a 930. They came with new tires, 225s up front and 245s in the rear.he is going to work his stuff on them, RSR anodized frost and polished lips. My front fenders were rolled by the PO; I'm hoping there won't be any rubbing; if so, I'll put the 205s on.

I think you'll have issues with the 225s up front. When I had my set of 7s and 9s, I had to roll the front to get even 205s to work without rubbing.
And yes, please bless us with some more shots of the beautiful rig.

The wheels are done and on the car...How do you guys maintain and clean them? I've used Sonax gel on my Subaru BBS wheels without problems; can I use it on the anodized finish?

IMHO I would like it better with center caps in the frosted finish as well..
If there are no caps the "centers" should be nicely cleaned up to enchance its appearance. ![]() |

Dumb question....How come every time I see RSR finished Fuchs (which I love) they never have center caps?

I use the same car shampoo as I use on the car and then a very light coat of vaseline, then wipe off.

Center caps fall out under hard cornering, so they are not used on race cars. The RSR finish was used on racing 911s. So if you want to have a proper look, you remove the center caps. Long wheels studs, open ended lug nuts, and slicks really capture the appropriate look.
mclmk8d, who did your wheels? They look magnificent. |

The center caps actually were being shipped separately...they were the colored ones; I guess there's a different procedure. Harvey did all the work on these wheels and they come wonderfully.
Any other things I need to do to keep them clean and lovely?
