New Web Series With Custom 911 Build

A friend just forwarded this to me and I have not watched both episodes yet. It's an Ebay sponsored web series where 4 different garages in LA build custom cars using all Ebay sourced parts. One of the cars is a nice looking 1984 911. They are going to make it into a rally car.

There have been four episodes so far - I use the scroll bar to zip through and locate the 911 content.

GSR Motorsport is building a "rally tribute" 911 from a 1984 Carrera... so far they have stripped the interior, removed engine/trans, stuck on 'glass front and rear bumpers, ducktail and rally lightpod from TRE... it's been sent for paint... can hardly wait to see what's next... July 30 is the next episode release date.

Cheers

d.

It's actually pretty good. It seems much more real than other build shows. I'm kind of rooting for the lowrider garage because the owner seems like a genuine, hard-working guy, but the GSR garage is cool too. I like that they stuck with 15" wheels on the Porsche (although the Enkei's are not my thing). From what I gather, they have a budget and they can sell parts they take off the cars towards their costs. Maybe they'll make money selling the Fuchs.
