crankcase problem
Im having trouble splitting my crankcase. I have a 1973 2.4 L and found metal fragments in the sump? As far as I know I took all the through bolts outand nuts off. The case has probably been together for awhile. Any help

Oh yeah I did not remove the fly wheel Are there fasteners behind it?

you have to remove the flywheel, there are a fewnuts to be removed back there

You will have to pull the flywheel to get at the remaining fasteners.I used a soft hammer to gently tap the case halves apart when all the fasteners are removed.
