Anyone know a source for used parts?

I am in need of one left rear bumperette for my '83 911. New prices are out of the question. Does anyone know a place where I may be able to obtain one used for a fair price? Thanks.
Rich

I've bought several things from Carquip in Boulder, CO (www.carquip.com) -- very satisfied. There is also PartsHeaven and PAP, but I've never used either. Pelican doesn't really deal in used stuff much anymore, and AASE Bros is gone.

Also, check the For Sale & Wanted sections on Rennlist.

In northern CA there is Parts Heaven, www.partsheaven.com. I've bought a number of used parts from them at very reasonable prices.

Cool Used....

PAP is now called German Auto Dismantlers. The phone number should still be good. I was on their lot in January and saw several good "donor" 911s sitting about. Also, you might try
Dart dismantlers. Check the latest issue of "excellence" for their ad. I have gotten several things from Dart and have always been pleased with the parts and service.

Good Luck!

If you need a lot of stuff (10 kg minimum shipping charge), Mittelmotor in Germany has just about everything, both new and used.

$50 shipping, but you can ship 22 lbs....

I bought a "new" heater blower fan from PAP last year off Ebay and they sent me the wrong part... no refund. Got some pricing from Einmailig for some parts. Good customer service and prompt reply's to email requests. JMO.

parts heaven in CA has alway done right by me. plenty parts 180020parts is good w/ good prices...not much inventory.

I have been less than satisfied w/ parts werks or chicago in both new and used parts. The new parts sent were aftermarket CRAP when I was under the impression I was ordering porsche factory parts and the used stuff was defective.

Classified

I think I have seen the part you mention in the classified section
of this board. Go up top and click on the classified and then
do a search...pretty sure I saw your part for sale there.

Look up ikoiko, a member of the BBS. He is a privateer that goes to Pomona regularly. Email him with your needs.

20th Street Auto Parts in Phoenix has gotten me out a couple of tight spots in the past. They are helpful, kinda cheap and fast.
