I absolutely understand your question! Sweden - not the warmest part of our planet :-) I donīt think that there will be an issue but if so it would be an easy thing to upgrade. Like that you noticed it!

Details and minors

Well we are into details and getting the final small projects done. Tiny stuff left and we can't wait to hear the engine turn for the first time. Still missing is the thermostate housing (somewhat important.....). The right hand rear light was not to be save so luckily I was able to source a brand new one still in the box. Clutch wire support broken as so often on these but we made a solution from 5mm aluminum and its sturdy. Thank's all for looking!

More of the small projects

Itīs been a while since last post. Lots of small details and small parts missing for final completion. One big smile came when the new thermostat housing arrived. The old one had almost no threading left so now finally the complete oil system is done. A bit of wiring left before I am able to start her up. Also been putting in new safety belts and cleaning up in the luggage compartment.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1349955457.jpg

Very nice! Clean, nothing over-the-top. I love it.

That is one super sano (clean) machine.
The detail is really nice.
Good luck with the rest of the build.

Getting there slowly.....

Hi all, well its still progressing. Lot of it is down to the electrical and just a few minor parts missing before we can put in the finishing touches (stickers, polishing and fine tuning). Itīs really funny to see how small things can bring out a smile on your face (read mine.....) like lamps going on for the first time.... A few pictures for now.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1353586051.jpg

You may have made a conscious decision not to do this but the factory painted satin black around the edge of the door trim so the body color did not show inside the car with the doors closed. Looks cool either way just wanted to point it out in case you did not know this and wanted to do it. More pics please!

Looking great!!!

Easily one of my favorite posts on Pelican. Also my favorite color too!

Nicely done..

 Gorgeous car. I admire your details..:) I would paint the MSD box black
so its conspicuous, the red is loud. I did mine and its not as noticeable.
Just my 1 cent...;)

The picture is not showing a complete hook up. The T fitting is not standard diameter internally to the line going back to the tank. It has a reduced diameter in the one nipple to insure the washer nozzles get the majority flow, but can bleed off excess pressure back to the tank.

Hi!

You are absolutely right, itīs a conscious decision :-) I just like that you see the car and the parts as they are. Nothing hidden.
But a good notice :-)

I absolutely see what you mean! I have been going forth and back on this one. Not really decided yet. But I agree with you since the rest of the car is more or less all Yellow and black :-)
