Where did they hide the 14 wire connection block
'72 T
I'm fixing my oil temp guage. Actual guage is ok,I have 40 ohms across the sender so that seems ok, I have a green black on the guage as per diag which goes to part # 84, the connector that should leave as a black, but it's a red black at the sender with a white giving a ground Should be able to sort it out once I find that connector where I'm sure the prob is. Had the carpet out the front and removed the panel, looked in the back, tell me it's not under the dashboard, please. For anyone that intends to fix their seatbelts (early 911) The narrow side contains the SPRING The wider side contains the ratchet! If you open the narrow side the spring WILL jump out. and will take the form of a ten year old warehouse telephone cord. It's saveable, though. Jeff |

In my SC it's in the engine compartment, left side, underneath a plastic cover which is held in with two wingnuts. There are also 3 fuses under that cover. You'll see a thick cable coming out from it going over towards the engine.

Jeff,
1974 and earlier models have two 14-pin sets of connectors on yhe relay/fuse/CDI/regulator panel. The forward connector goes to the body wiring harness. The rear connector goes to the engine.
