According to the Porsche Family Tree book that engine is from a 1972 911T Coupe (133 HP@5600 rpm) from 6120001 to 6124478, the chasis serial numbers (VIN) from 912100001 to 9112102931.

Hope this helps

72 T is the correct call. Does it have MFI or has it been converted to carbs?

Porsche Crest

It should be a Type 911/51 2.4 MFI 'T' engine ... produced for 1972 production around mid-year, i.e., in the Dec. to Feb. time frame.
