pmo 40 or 46s???

i have a 79 911sc looking for alittle more fun so a carb conversion plus i love the look of those carbs basically a street car maybe a couple auto x or de events in my future, so which carbs i/m gooing to change cams and its already a no heat car headers and m&k gt3 exh. so guys will the 46s be streetable down low in the rev range or will they stumle /cough i want nice throttle response kinda like i have on my vintage rd400 two stroke roadrace bike she right there thanks for your help
