CV Joint Question
The CV joints on my Turbo look were attached using 10 X 60mm socket head cap screws; no half moons, schnoor washers or inner lids were in place, the joints were bolted directly to the transaxle flanges. Should I reassemble them the same way or should I at least add the inner lids; if so, will adding the inner lids affect the rear camber settings?

Check out posts on this by Grady Clay - the following link is quite helpful

Thanks, I did previously read that post, however it applies to the earlier models that used the 10 X 50mm bolts and had a gasket between the CV joint and the transaxle flange, not the later or 930 CV Joints that came from the factory with 10 X 60mm bolts and without half moons or schnorr washers and do not use a gasket between the CV joint and transaxle flange.

Have you looked at the parts diagram in PET? Should at least indicate what the proper parts are...

Yes, I've looked at the Pet parts diagram and compared them to posts on this subject that refer to the fact that 108 mm joints are installed without Schnorr washers or half moon clips (as pictured); however none of the posts refer to the CV Joint caps/lids. My car didn't have caps/lids in place and the bolts were still properly torqued after 30,000 miles of hard use, thus I am questioning the need for the caps!!!
