Last night trying to resolve a squeeking driver door positioner I removed the door panel completely to lubricate from inside.
However my perception on how to re-plug the window activation switches isn't nearly as clear as the reality and now I'm just blowing 25A fuses. Does anyone have the schematic for window activation switches.... Pleeeeeease or verbally describe the colour coding for reattaching the wires?? thank you

How about Pelican parts tech areas?
This is for a 71 model but doubt it has changed much: http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_Parts/Electrical/911_electrical_windows_71.jpg This is for a SC model but its still the same: http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_Parts/Electrical/911_electrical_82SC_Part4-2.jpg Here is the master link: http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_Parts/911_electrical_diagrams.htm Everytime I look for some information I have started looking on Pelican (I know, thats their plan but it works!) but they have a wealth of tech info and its available to us so we might as well use it. If you were doing like I do at times and using some Labats Blue for a "lubricant" when I reassemble the car at night, that might have something to do with it! Stand back today and take another look at it today and things usually work out! Hope this helps! Joe

Joe,
Labatt's lubricates almost as well as Molson... ![]() The window switches in my 87 have 5 pins on each, which really tested my sense of cognitive reality, especially after I ran out of fuses. The 71 and SC only use 3...... I have faith someone can direct me to the proper alignment. Thanks Joe

Gunner,
Let me look in my Bentleys book. Its for the 84-89 models... Just looked it up. Pls email me directly at: joeaksa@yahoo.com and I will scan and send it to you. Its too big for pelican (max 65K) to accept. Guess we need to get the Carerra wiring diagrams up on the net! Joe

Peter,
Sending it from my work location. Damm Yahoo would not allow any attachment larger than 1.5 meg and they are a bit larger than that. Let me know if this helps... Joe

Joe,
Jpeg came through and was just over 2 MB. You really appreciate high speed internet on those. Everything looks great and I should have no problem rewiring, unless of course I self-inflict....... Your help is greatly appreciated and folks like you prove what a super BB Pelican has, as it's attracted some very very good people. btw I took my FT in a C172... ![]() Peter
