Noticed today that after I filled up and reset the trip odometer yesterday it is showing that I have not driven an single mile! What could cause this...it was working until then?

If you pushed the reset button while the car was moving you may have stripped an odometer gear or broken a gear attachment to a shaft. If this is the case a repair will be in order; it can be a DIY job if you can obtain the gear but the VDO company apparently makes it difficult for the DIY person to obtain one. Sometimes a gear will apparently just loosen on a shaft (plastic expands or cracks due to time and heat?) and slip and the odometer will stop logging. This happened to me last summer in my '76 during a very hot crossing of Wyoming. The odomter stopped logging for about 30 miles then resumed and has worked ever since. The speedometer/odometer repairs can be done by various companies; I believe Pelican can arrange such repairs. Probably at least a $100 with a speedometer calibration. Jim
