Post Alternator issues!

I just finished removing my alternator (81 SC). Can I get someone to look over my wiring notes and make sure that I have got them correct? I was sure that I wrote them down correctly and now I am starting to second-guess myself! Also does anyone have any suggestions of additional work that I could accomplish while I am waiting for my new alternator? I was thinking about a fan powder coat.

Thanks as always

Bud Gordon

While you near the top of the engine, I would check for rat nests, and general cleanliness of the fins and top of the engine case. The cleaner the cooler.

I can't help you on the wires though, as my year is different.

Have FUN!

I just performed that swap myself. I had my fan and shroud bead blasted. It turned out nice, but if you can spare the extra time, powder coating looks much nicer. I had to get mine back on the road as it's a daily driver.
