Magnaflow Exhaust Question any comments would help.

Has anyone heard or have any experience with a Magnaflow 1 in 2 out exhaust with a cat bypass???? Is it crazy loud? Any comments would help.

Quieter than a Flowmaster 40. I love mine (although it's a 2-in 2-out).

My magna flow is also a 2 in - 2 out, and it sounds awesome and a bit rowdy...but in a high quality way that makes you search for tunnels.

I also have a MagnaFlow 2in-2out #11385. It's mated to Fabspeed headers (w/heat) on my 3.6L. Sound/loudness is such a subjective thing but for street driving, I found it barely tolerable so I installed some Car Chemistry inserts to tone it down just a bit. There are 3 levels of baffles that can be stuffed with stainless steel wool for varying levels of "quieter". I have one baffle filled and it makes a BIG difference. I installed them with rivets so they are easy to pop in and out for track use etc... Although you can see in the photo below how much restriction they provide, I'm not sure my butt dyno can really tell the difference when they are in vs. out. . . I'd be interesting to get it on a dyne and see the numbers.

Here's a few pics.:

mines 2 in 2 out very quiet and passes track day noise tests easily,it opens up and wails above 7000 revs
