It looks as if the radio antenna is broken. That's terrible!

"Good parking brake," Bob mused, casually lighting a cigarette, "but certainly not a great parking brake."

I think this is photoshopped. Very similar photos featuring different cars have been circulating on various forums for years. Though why someone would, I cannot imagine.

I don't think it's photoshopped.

I think that car was for sale in the last year. From what I recall, it's a 912, it rolled down a hill into the pond when the parking brake failed or someone forgot to set the brake.

They had pictures of pulling it out of the water, etc. I think they got it running again, although being submerged for some period of time can obviously raise some long term issues.

From the title I thought you were asking for stories of the submarine races in your Porsche. But then that would be in OT.

It's the line from Risky Business. The P-Car shop repair guy comes out of the bay and asks that after the two morons sunk a 928....no real loss.....

That story was on bringatrailer.com last year. If my memory is right, then I think it was actually a 912. I think the guy accidentally backed it into his pond or it rolled in or something. He ended up fishing it out and selling it. I'll have to find a link to the story.

Edit: never mind, brown747 found it.
