If you want flashy you can't beat yellow in my opinion, especially if it's done right.
I just got my 1975 painted last week Porsche Speed Yellow.
This will give you an idea.

That is F'ing SWEET axeman! Nice ride. I'd like that exactly!

Lukeh: good point. I think I'm just in with this car forever. when my ship comes in, I'll buy a separate turbo. I don't have a car payment now, so maybe in time I can work in another car. I'll have a 911 and a 930. Great for hauling things eh?

Axeman 06-12-2002 02:54 PM

Thanks Kurt...my first 911..been dreaming about it since I was 9yo! It's about time it happened! :) I'm so glad to finally be a Porsche owner!

Viper Green, Signal Yellow, Polo Red, Signal Orange, Gulf Blue, AND Black ... like a Mexican Taxi Beetle!!!

Carrera Charlie 06-12-2002 03:29 PM

Kurt,

If you're tired of red, I'd recommend the contrasting color approach ... Viper Green!!

Of course, you can't go wrong with Signal Orange or Yellow! (Love those wild 60s & 70s colors!)

Regards,

The green 2.7 there is actually lime green, a great, and loud, colour....!

Fishcop 06-12-2002 04:43 PM

Fishcop Blue, Fishcop Blue, Fishcop Blue!!!!!! :D

Zeke 06-12-2002 04:53 PM

French racing cars were blue, British were green and German were silver. Are you a racer? That's what I hear.

And I thought the plaid comment was funny. Jackie Stewart would like it.

Efrain68912 06-12-2002 05:47 PM

Yellow with red to orange flames would be my choice.

expat 06-12-2002 07:05 PM

Yellow!

Another Quartz Grey Metallic (662). Not many around but as Superman said, classy, stealthy, and ... Found it extremely well cared for, a broken stud did show up :(
