OT - Is there a Pelican equivalent for Mustangs?

My boss' son is toying with the idea of buying and restoring a late 60's Mustang. I mentioned how this BBS made 911 ownership possible for me. Is there something like Pelican for Mustangs I can refer to him? Thanks.

While I'd like to reply in cognito....My wife drives a 'tang and these are the sights I use for it....none of them as cool or good as PPBBS

mustangworld.com

rpm-mustangs.com

remember the mean average age of a mustang owner is like 12 enter at your risk!

This one is actualy a general racing site, but a lot of the technical questions are Mustang related.

http://corner-carvers.com/forums/index.php?

Make sure you read the Corner-Carvers Guide For Newbies . Corner Carvers is about as far as possible from politically correct.

There is a mustang specific web site, http://www.corral.net/ but I haven't heard anything good about it.

One more idea... checkout www.Grassrootsmotorsports.com. I've subscribed to this mag for years and its just plain fun to read. they often have project cars of one might be an old 'tang, check their article archives.

As I also own an older Mustang. There are some OK forums out there. If he gets a six cylinder car like mine, there is a really good one that I would reccomend called ww.fordsix.com.

It cannot match the level of knowledge on this one, buth it can be very useful. I used a lot of inof and help through that forums to mount the 3 one barrell webers on my little six (it came with probably the worst one barrell set up ever designed!).

Hope that helps.

Bill

If you need to know good parts places, have them drop me a message.
