I'm going to try and save you your cash.......I really have to say you are wasting money if you already have the Aluminum S brakes. Maybe try the later versions of the "S" Calipers. They are great brakes, light, and work perfect for what you are describing. I have been using them on my race car for over 10 years, and they are prefect without any issues you are describing.

I agree with Chad, go with the "S" aluminum brakes, they should be plenty for this car. 993 brake calipers are lighter than the much smaller ATE single piston calipers, but the rotor is much bigger and heavier.
You should not be getting the spongy feeling on a freshly rebuilt set so look at your lines or your MC seals.
