pirelli p7 cintuaro on turbo fuchs!

I just got a set of turbo fuchs that have been sitting in storage for at least 10 years! The tires are meaty pirelli p7 cintuaro. I have not seen these tires in years and remember these as the tires of choice on the Lamborghini of the 80s
Do these tires have any value to the concours crowd as a period correct tire. I mostly track my car and most likely will sell these wheels and tires to fund my winter backdate project. ( I would most likely not trust these tires for agressive driving as they are quite old but do not appear dry rotted) I would be cool to see an orig 930 with these tires and rims at a concours event, the rims are not concours but not bad. I took a pic and I think the old school tires look unique compared to modern offerings.

What width are those? They look to be at least 9"

Those look like 8s to me.

P7s are definitely neat from a historical perspective, they are arguably the first high performance, low profile tire, that launched a major change in tire size and style.

They do look "just right" on an 80s 911, so they would be neat to see on one.

On the flip side, of course, they would be very dangerous to drive on at any high speed, since they must be at least 20 years old, so they are of limited practical value.

My guess is to most people the tires are basically worthless, but if you could find the right buyer, you might be able to get some decent money for them!

I could see the concours 75-77 Turbo guys wanting these. You should post over on the Turbo forum, may get a few bites.

They were the schnit back in the "day". Wish I had a buck for every one I mounted at the dealer in the 80s. I'd buy y'all a beer

Depending on how/where they were stored and if they show no sign of cracking/rot, they may be fine - despite popular opinion I bought a car with a spare set of wheels and tires of similar age. They also showed no sign of deterioration. I decided to put them on the car and give them a try. First I drove about 25MPH down to the nearest gas station and back, nervous as a whore in church and fully expecting them to self-destruct. Gradually over the next week, I increased my speed and distance. Eventually I left them on and ran them as hard as I could with not a single problem. I put at least 2500 miles on them and I'm still occasionally using them (these are also a unique tire you can no longer purchase)!

20+ year old tires work great. Until they don't.

Wheels are seven and nines
I like the look of the vintage rubber but I won't trust it in a perf driving situation. Neat to look at just like old Michelin xwx.

Yeah, they looked pretty wide to me... Cool lookin'.

I wouldn't trust old tires. I had a set of old-ish Falkens come apart on me in the 944 shortly after I bought it (idiot PO hadn't bothered to change them in about 8 years) Not a fun experience.

They were the definitive low profile tire of the day.

Nice tires, they will find some use in the concours crowd.
I have a 225/50 x 15's that's similar that's stored in the garage when I replaced
to a set of YOKOHAMAS..
