Tapping into pressurized oil
I need to feed pressurized oil to my Vortech supercharger for lubricating the gears, where's the best/safest place to tap into the engine lubrication system? And where is the best place to connect a return line? Engine is '86 3.2 liter.
Thanks, Dan

A T fitting under the oil pressure sender would be my bet. I am not familiar with the 3.2 but I would see if you can copy the MFI arrangement on a 70-73 engine for pressurised oil and return.

I can't help you with your question... but I keep thinking that I want a supercharger for my 3.0 SC. Is there a kit, or a company, or research that I should know about?
I'll start saving up today!

![]() This factory part is used at the Oil pressure switch....... ![]() along with a Banjo and hose and can be routed to the supercharger. You also need a proper drain back into the oil sump or oil tank. I have a good selection of Metric fittings & hose if needed. Len at Autosportengineering dot com

![]() Here's the Banjo to match the factory Banjo bolt above............ ![]() Add a couple Alum or Copper crush washers and you have the pressurized supply you need. Most components have 1/4 NPT fittings and you can fit one of these......... ![]() So you have both ends covered. A length of Hose and you are set to run. Len
