Sounds funny while idling?

Just started noticing this last night, or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but does this sound funny? It makes a pulsing sound a few times a second. Here is a video from in the car and with the hood open. Yes I realize my engine bay is super oily... :x will be replacing the crank pulley seal this weekend.

In car:

Any thoughts and help is greatly appreciated!

there is something going on there. u shouldnt be too worried about that. i think- the high pitched note is the fan and related components, and that kinda up and down wobbly effect to the sound might be difficult to nail down. im an sc guy but i did have an 84 for a cpl yrs, u might want to replace the head temp snsr and the o2 sensor for good measure especially if u dont know the age of those parts.

Well there is no o2 sensor. It was removed by the previous owner and he has a home made test pipe in place of the cat. As far as the head temp sensor I will have to do some research on that as I have no idea what that entails.

Remove the belts one at a time to see if it will make the same noise. Your heater is off right?

This will help isolate where it is coming from.

If alternator, remove and service the bearings and inspect the regulator for wear.

Remove the fan belt and run the engine?
