Porsche Style Council Input requested

Hey guys,
I recently saw post by Saxen about removal of the side skirts and rubber molding from his SC. I must admit I had not considered that before for aesthetics or weight savings but I kind of like the idea.

Anyway, here is a couple pictures of my current project with the factory skirts and rubber molding still attached. Does anyone have a similar car without the skirts that I can look at?

Opinions on leaving vs taking skirts out very welcome.

Thanks

thanks for the shout out-

i would be happy to post somemore pictures if you would like, i removed the rock guards on mine so its looks a bit cleaner now.

just remember, if you save everything and keep track of it you can always change it back, it took me about 10 min per side to remove

the one thing i did not like is my paint was a bit differend under the rockers, i will need to get the paint fixed there- yours may or may not be the same

Personally, I think you need the skirts if you're keeping that front bumper.

and the wing. The mounting brackets will have to be cut off to make it look good also, the paint might not match the rest of the car. easy to check out first. Remove the little black caps and slide off the rubber molding, the sheet metal screws are under that. Watch out for the orientation of the plastic washers for re assembling.

+1.

You'd have to remove more than just the side skirts to get the "no side skirts look" to look good.
