Brake Light Switch? 911SC
Since my new LED brake light project, I now thought I'd make the brake light response a little quicker. I thought it must be a push switch on the pedal, so if adjusted closer, my brake lights would come on sooner, rather than later when the pedal is pushed down hard.
Well, after first looking in the Benltly, and not finding a picture, I took out the carpets and wood floor board, and there's no switch under there... So I looked at the master cylinder, and there seems to be two places with wires connections. So are the brake lights activated by brake pressure? IF so, I guess no adjustment, just mash the pedal all the way all the time..?

Brake light switches
Yes, there are two redundant switches located behind the master cylinder under the windshield.

You may need to swap the switches out, the pressure switches tend to get fouled inside the switches over time due to arcing.
The other issue maybe a tired MC. If you brakes are rock solid at top of pedal travel, almost instant then it is the switches. LED's will turn on much faster then the incandecents. Only caution with LED, at certain time of the day near sunset and if your car is in line with the glare the driver behind you may not see the LEDs. I ended up with Honda OEM nickle plated higher wattage bulbs, the dual fillament is standard at lights on but higher wattage on braking. Nickle helps prevent corrosion.
