1984 Carrera A/C

Ok,
I started pulling the A/C out of my car, question is how do I value the stuff for sale? It worked, barely, so it is being sacrificed for Benjamins, just how many? If you need something from a '84 Calif Carrera, every last bit and chunk is on the block, make me an offer that isn't too crazy and we can see about doing bidness. How much weight savings am I looking at?
Thanks
Eric

If the car has a rear wiper, I might be interested in the rear condenser.

"every last bit and chunk is on the block,"

How much for the two-groove pulley off the crank?

84 A/C Stuff

I'm interested in the box with the cooler and the fan . . . complete. You pulled this from the Smugglers Box.

Pic's and price please.

Tom

Toss the hoses and drier.

The cleaner and fewer miles... the more it is worth.

Lay everything out on a nice clean work bench,
use good lightening, take lots of pictures, explain
how many miles you think are on the system along
with the model and year of car, and
sell it as 1 lot.

Well,
Stripped all the hoses, condensers, pump, and smugglers well stuff. I know know why it didn't work, the junk in the smugglers well was a solid block of corrosion and crud. Amazing, all the fans work, just nothing else. When I cracked the lines, I got barely a pfffft. I decided to cut the lines to make removal easier. Looking at one of the lines I noticed a crack in the rubber that went almost to the surface. Most of the evaporator is junk, I do have all the hardware and hose ends if someone wants the stuff make me a crazy offer and there ya go. Been cutting sheet metal and making patches to fill the holes using screws and seam seal.

This box is scrap, rusted/corroded beyond hope.
Sorry
Eric
