Dan,

First class way to introduce yourself to the crowd. Hats off and welcome. Always liked the Weissach cars. I looked at one up near Elkhart Lake before I bought the one I have now.

Next, your friend Ken looks pretty handy and has a good eye. I'm not that far away, would he entertain shooting my car?

I agree with Oto and Drive-em. I kept my car pretty stock for a while. Then I just said what the heck, it's not going up or down in value as long I don't smash it. May as well have fun with it, make it the way I want, and do what I can afford to make it go around the track faster.

Just to follow up, the plaid is not factory. The previous owner had plaid insert covers made, and I'm fine with them for now.

Unfortunately the bolsters are in rough shape. So, I think my plan is to just get the seats completely redone.

Due to the Doric grey leather/Rust piping color being uncommon, I'm guessing that I will need to "pay the man"
The dash is a little wavy and the door tops could use some help. Do it all at once and be done with it.

If anyone has any leads on a clean SC dash or some clean Weissach seats I would be very grateful.
Total needle in a haystack.

Welcome Dan. I have spent a lot of my life/time up in that area where you preside. I miss most of it except the winters! The people are great and the surroundings are beautiful. I have a freind up there (high up in Manitowoc Ice) who has a killer older RX7 and even a rare Suzuki rotary motorcycle.

Welcome to the forum!

rs6er - Tell your son nice work on his rig shots. They are not easy to get right.

theclaw - Thanks for the kind words. Ken would totally be into doing more rig shots. Hit me up come spring.

ShakinJoe - I completely agree. Love the people here. The winter? Not so much. We do some print for
Manitowoc Ice (I'm an Account Rep) That RX7 isn't yellow, is it? I've seen a few around.

The RX7 is a silver/red two tone convertible.

Since we are working on a good 10" of snow, I was reminiscing about warmer times.

How about a couple of iPhone shots of the clutch work over the summer..

Happy Holidays!
