Top End ... whilst Im in in there what else

I'm cross posting from engine re building to get some more input. Apologies if you have seen the thread before.

My car needs the valve guides and rings, and I will also replace the studs.
I don't want to go crazy, but as I have the engine out, I'm thinking fuel lines and probably time to do the clutch possible re build the transmission.

What else I should be doing whilst the motor is out of the car. Bearing in mind I am trying to not go crazy about the re build costs, I juts want a stock streetable 3.2.

(Sorry for the broadness but this is my first top end )
Thanks !

In addition to your list, 964 cams should be considered (really wake up the 3.2) and rear bushes can be addressed while the engine is out.

A few questions. How many miles on the engine, year of car. Said you are changing rings, what cyl. and pistons do you have? Alusil or Nikasil??

Reground the cam to 964 profile, have the rockers reground as well. The total cost of this mod will be around $800.00. This price would include the rockers being re bushed as well.

The 964 profile will give you a little more "punch" above 2500 RPM's.

Just so you know you are standing on steep earth and its slippery.

Good luck.
