Just saying Hi from New Zealand.

I have owned my 78 911SC for 18 years.
It was a UK car, imported to NZ in 1986, and had one owner before me. Delivered new to an English owner, so I guess it makes it's designation "ROW".
I have just had the engine out for minor (ish) work. Gaskets, oil tubes, hoses, blown airbox repair, exhausts and so on. Did all the work myself and got my parts here at Pelican so found this forum via that.
Car is stock..no tail and on 15in Cookies. and I like it that way.

Photo taken a few years ago not a million miles from where I live.

Spruced up for an outing.

Nice car, though I'm a little biased for '78 SC's

Great looking car John, glad you have joined in with us here on PP OT.
Is that Lake wanaka in your pic? you sure do have some great driving roads there.

I've spent a couple of years there in N Z while sailing to and fro. And totally love it there, A bit cold for me but really nice diverse country side, and very enjoyable folks.

As another islander I wonder how it goes there keeping your SC going. Are there good parts available? Any good shops in your area?

There are a few fun Kiwis on the forum already, so maybe you will be able to check them out for us to see if they are as wacky as they seem :-)

Cheers Richard

Looks great with the cookie-cutters. I don't see a lot of those around here, but they are in the owner's manual picture for my '79 SC.

I have heard only good things about New Zealand.

And your car makes NZ look that much better in my eyes. Great job!

I almost had my white 83 shipped down when I was living there I'd love to get it out on some of those roads. South Island is looking great!
