"All dimensions is taken from a original factory race car, and factory drawings where used in the production.

We have used the front clip from a 993 Porsche, as the factory did when they produced the 25 original cars they made. This front clip was then welded together with the monocoque steel sheet metal floor on and the roll cage, just like on the factory cars."

that is THE real deal, only not made from Porsche originaly

Hey guys,

Wayne has the original powertrain for it, who think itīs good idea that he make the car with me?

here in Brazil there is a common saying that is: if you have the cheese and knife in hands, just do it!

guys, please vote!

Wayne letīs do it!

It would absolutely be the most badass project out of anything I've ever seen so far if you put this GT1 chassis together with original powertrain sourced from "under Waynes table"

Perhaps roars 959 restoration could come up close, but not quite.

For some reason, I remember that the GT1 was made with 964 Speedster shells, cut right behind the driver's seat; including the Speedster's windshield.

Yep, Kevin was the first one I had contacted, but he is busy with many other projects. He wished me lucky to finish it. I might need it, since he explained me how difficult was to build the G99(GT-1 he made with original race parts)

thanks for the tip!

You may want to talk to Brady at the 901 Shop.
This is a cool project. My advice would be to build it with a motor that doesn't cost you $5,000 every time you start it up. That way you get to enjoy the car.

Hi guys,

This GT-1 project now is for sale , better than make a partner for it.

Iīm too far away to make a deal like that. So, any interested buyer please email me or PM me.

I will explain all the detail and all the parts included on it.

Body kit and some parts are located in Florida Sunrise.

Hope some GT-1 lover find it and finish it.

Thank you guys for all the help and tips.

I'm in Sunrise and had never heard of this project being around.

Having been around the block a couple of times, its a very cool project but I can't see a way out where it would make money sense when you are ready to move to the next toy.

Best of lucks!

Tadashi,

Tempting but to finish it to my standards i can see the total go into 991 4S territory. Good luck with it. Kind regards and "feliz Natal"
