Oil lines picture needed
Hello,
I am currently building new oil lines for my 930, I build them like the old version because my headers do not allow the new route...aka backdating oil lines. Some info/pics from the oil line which connects thermostat with engine would be helpful. Especially I like to see the routing they used for the hose, here I have some problems choosing the best way. thanks for your help! Falk

![]() For a 911SC look up 911-107-743-12 for the pressure line from Engine to the Regulator, and 911-107-730-11 for the return line from Regulator to Tank. Sorry, I don't have photos but someone else here does. You also might consider making up hi-clearance hoses as made by Elephant Racing. They are routed similar to how the original 72 911 hoses were routed; up & around the fenderwell so as not to interfere with WIDE tyres. Here's what the Elephant lines look like as in their katalog....... ![]() Nice product. Len

Member BoxsterGT made these high clearance oil lines for me. They are only prototypes with changes to come, but they've worked perfectly for about 2000 miles now.

Thanks a lot gentleman!
Especially ED! The small silver oil tube will with the white sticker in your 2nd pic was missing in my concept. I am building the oil lines from stainless tubes + stainless braided teflon hoses. I know stainless steel is not necessary, but my company is doing similar products every day. I will post pictures when they are ready/ or at least ready to picture. Again thanks! This forum is so great!! Falk
