drivers seat for-aft adjustment handle snapped off
Anyone seen this-or can suggest a fix!
86 targa, drivers seat-electric up and down, but manual for and aft...the actual metal adjustment lever tore off.. I see replacements on pelican for the earlier seats- up to 83, but not the later..maybe they are the same? -they look visually different, but I assume do the same thing? Help! |

While I don't have a solution for fixing, if you need to move the seat, it can be done with your fingers either pushing down or up (can't remember which) on the spring-loaded stopper in the track.
If you have access to a wrecking yard like pick-a-part, you might find a 944 which has the same seat tracks. I see 944's at the yard all the time. Vern |

I think I can use that as a temp fix, and then down the road remove it and put in a new/used one. maybe parts-heaven or similar will have one.. |
