the old a/c condensor in the rear fender trick.
Just read about this on griffiths site and thought that the folks that live below michigan and don't want to sweat the entire time that they are driving this summer might want a look see. 33 deg hum....I can live with that.

The left rear fender condenser location option was being used back in 1973 by some of the kits being installed by Porsche dealers. They too came with a rock shield. Cheers, Jim

One of the local shop puts a 993 or 996 condensor and electric fan in the front fender, replacing the water bottle with a smaller one. Says it works good but I have not done it. Patrick Motorsports is their name and hear that their other products are good so worth looking at...
One problem I have with the Griffith option is we really do not need more weight in the back of the car. Other than that its a great idea and feel that with the added fin area that it would work well with R-134. Check pricing as he charges a bit for his toys... Joe

I read that article some time ago, as I'm in Florida and my SC previously had a R134 system. After thorough research, I went with R12, and now even on the low setting, my A/C will freeze you out of the car. I have an underdash unit, and a dual condensor system, one on the lid, and one in the rear quarter like the Griffith's condensor. My A/C system dates back to '78, so they've been using rear quarter condensors for some time.
