Which front strut version do I have?
I'm looking to do a suspension refresh - incuding new shocks. I've been reading that there are different strut version and I need to get the proper shock to match the version I have on the car (is that right?).
With that said, I have an 84 Carrera Coupe which I read somewhere it looks like up through mid-85 ish the cars had Boge struts. But then I read that green shocks indicate Bilsteins - and my shocks are green. Any help? Also suggestions on a good shocks to use for replacement is welcomed. Car is a street car with some DE/autox events. Thank you! ![]()

Cool thanks!
Any opinions on a standard bilstein insert vs. the HD version?

![]() The other option are Sport inserts which are too stiff for stock-sized torsion bars.
