Plug Tool

That's the best spark plug tool I've ever used. Its the original from my tool kit. Anything else is a compromise.

rats - spent too much - this looks like it could have worked well for only 10 bucks.

Respectfully, the knurled knob to tighten by hand and exactly the right length to fit in the tight quarters in the engine compartment are what makes it right. That Grainger tool would never work without the engine removed.

well at least I got the right tool then - replaced wires without removing A/C compressor - not the neatest looking of jobs but it's running. did the fuel filter, car still running bad so will get at the plugs. this could be telling: used to get smoke smoke at start up - none lately that it is running rough - could be the colder weather affect on oil or directly related to problem cylinder..guess we'll see..

I don't know if there is any better one for our car, but it is the best for me.

When the local mechanic did the ppi on my 74,I noticed him using one of these tools.not having seen one before,I asked him about it and his response was how useful it was. what a great surprise a few minutes later when I found one in the toolkit

I had never used mine until last week. It is the best tool for Porsche plugs.
